Twitter is a great thing. It’s getting larger and larger as its self created digital word-of-mouth power spreads itself into every corner of this known world. As you know, twitter is a micro-blogging social network in which millions of people share their thoughts and lives in a fully searchable but sometimes unrealized fashion. The great thing about twitter though, is that it’s so much more.

Twitter has crazy potential just waiting to be unlocked and discovered, and even as we speak, twitter founders, Evan Williams, Biz Stone and Jack Dorse, along with their staff, are discovering new ways to tap into its potential. The Newness!

Well if you haven’t noticed or checked it out yet, I did a bit of upgrading to the overall look and the back-end code of the site. I also did a change to the drop-page of www.ericdies.com. Hopefully you’ll like the changes. For those of you that checked out the site yesterday evening, yes, that’s why stuff went crazy for a few minutes, haha. Amazing [ Free! ] Logo Book

While browsing around on Scott Hansen’s ISO50, I stumbled upon an article discussing an out of print book that compiled a large list of logos that were used in the mid-70s that was discovered by Eric Carl. Eric, who did not create this book, noticed that the book was open domain. He then resorted to uploading every scanned page of the book onto his Flickr. If you really like these graphics, he also has them up for download in one ZIP file at his blog in this article. Make sure to check it out. There’s some great stuff in there!
